Every park in Greater Lafayette is special, but we are partial to Columbian Park. It has been around since 1876, so it has a rich history and has grown & developed exponentially since then. That’s one of the reasons why we have been so stoked to be a vendor at this free, fun, family festival. (Columbian Park is also located just a few blocks from our house, so there’s another reason!)
The Art in the Park series last year was such a great time! We understand why the Parks & Rec. department had to narrow it down to only three days of vending this year, though…there is so much fun to be had in Lafayette, and so little summertime to have it. This year, we had “Celebration Night” on June 6th and we’ll have “Country Night” TOMORROW, June 27th, from 6-9 pm at Columbian Park. The third event of 2017 will be “Carnival Night,” held at Armstrong Park.
This event is fun for all ages! Tomorrow, come check out country music by Scott Greeson & Trouble With Monday. There will be FREE craft booths, face painting, and balloon animals. Food trucks and vendors of all sorts will be there for your perusal, so bring your “treat yourself” money! The main entrance is next to Rush Pavillion off of Scott Street. Stop in and register as you enter, and you could win a gift basket.
